The truth behind neem!

The truth behind neem

A common saying in Ayurveda is that if you can maintain a near-perfect healthy diet, one remains fit enough- so much so that the need for taking medicines becomes substantially low. Ayurveda – the oldest stream of medicine, has existed for the past three to five thousand years and has always been focused on naturally making medicines with neem, making healing with Ayurveda a completely natural and healthy process.

Learning from mother nature has been one of the pillars of Ayurveda. Using organic herbs and plants makes the Ayurvedic stream of medicine unique and makes it stand out from other medicinal practices. Neem is one such herb. Neem is an immensely popular herb, and to back its popularity, there come the innumerable health benefits that neem offers. Do not be surprised when I tell you that the neem tree is one of the very few plants that can be entirely used for different purposes. The bark, leaves, seeds, roots, flowers, and fruits contribute to one purpose or another! Among many other diseases, neem helps solve acute health issues like eyesight problems, damaged liver, cardiovascular diseases, and skin ulcers, to name a few! Did you know that neem leaf could also be used for birth control! Impressive! Isn’t it? The bark of the neem tree helps solve problems like stomach ulcers, malaria, and fever, while the flower can be used to treat intestinal worms. The fruit of the neem tree is also a valuable part of the tree as we can use it to cure wounds, diabetes, and leprosy.

You could also apply neem directly on your skin! Yes! Now you want to know how that works! Do not worry! Just keep on reading! Applying neem directly on the head could easily treat the problem of lice. Besides that, you could also apply neem on the skin to treat skin ulcers or even use it as a mosquito repellent.

Neem has been used to make Ayurvedic medicines for as long as one can remember. Along with a few other herbs combined with neem, it has been used for hundreds of years to make Ayurvedic medicines that address several diseases. These Ayurvedic medicines have no side effects and make the process of healing with Ayurveda relatively painless, organic, and healthy! Now that you know about the benefits, start using neem in your day-to-day life to have sound health!
